Our view
The first in the pikmin series. We always thought of this game as the best game as the best of it's time, with suprisingly good graphics. The game was realeased in 2001 yet it is still enjoyable to play. if you're new to the pikmin world,fe fell free to read the story line and/or watch the video below.
Storyline
Olimar an expolerer and also the main characectar, from the planet Hocofate, is on a journey to find intresting things for the company that he worsk for. But things take a turn for the worst as his ship
(the SS.Dolphin) gets struck by a comet and is sent spiralling down to an planet. As olimar regains conchsuness He relises that he is on a planet which Has un-breakable air to Hocotatians. But thanksfully jis suit has a life suppport system which lasts 30 days , but i those 30 days he has to find a decent ammount of parts to his shop so he is abl eto launch properly into outter space.
As olimar begins to explore, he encounters a large black bulb which springs up into the air and turns red, Olimar names this an "onion". Then suddenl, a single seed has sprouted and has a red glow. He then plucks it out of the ground and to his suprise it is a small red creature. He then names this a "pikmin" adter the " pik pik" carrots in his home world. Olimar was very entreegd by this dsiovert he then writes this in his captains log: Land thats when he noticed he was being followed' Olmiar discovered that they vould mulitply by gathering pellets and dead neatures, and in great numbers the pikmin were strong. He begon to find new types of pikmin with diffrent speacialty. They help Olimar find the missing parts and escape from the planet.
